Jerulith is a former Thalmor Justiciar who served under Ondolemar in Markarth. Following a gruesome murder in which the Thalmor were suspected, Jerulith was willingly used as a scapegoat in order to further their cause in Markarth. She hopes to regain her standing with the Thalmor once the incident is forgotten.

Notes:
– Like all essential NPCs, the effect is due to her involvement in a quest. Upon completion of Honor’s Calling, Jerulith can be killed.
– Jerulith is the friend Viranya speaks of whose politics she dislikes. In the quest Vigilance and Virtue, Jerulith was referenced specifically by name to help avoid any ambiguity.
– The mispronunciation of Justiciar as Justicar is a result of the author’s ignorance and not a mistake on the voice actor’s part. I blame Mass Effect.
– Versions prior to 3.05.1 were voiced by Marcy Edwards

  1. Can we get a Thalmor follower? NOT, Aldmeri, but Thalmor, since their omnicidal platform seems sorely under-represented, and could make an excellent conversation piece for the PC while on road trips.

    1. Generally the followers have to be able to go anywhere. A Thalmor would cause all kinds of problems with the main questline, especially Diplomatic Immunity and rescuing Esbern. Thalmor attacking you on the road, etcetera, it’s really just a headache trying to account for it all. I mean, perhaps an ex-Thalmor like Jerulith would work, but even her loyalties are with her brethren. It would have to be an ex-Thalmor in the way Haakon is an ex-Stormcloak and hates his former colleagues.

      1. Ah. I just got the mod installed today and was excited about seeing a Thalmor wandering around Falkreath. Hadn’t thought that through. Some superior-bred Mer I am, huh?

        1. No worries, any suggestions/critiques are helpful, even if I disagree I have to explain why, and it gives me a better understanding of the characters and why certain decisions were made.

  2. Once I engaged her in conversation I thought she sounded like 7 of 9! And when she then used the word “futile” in her sentence, I couldn’t help but smile.
