Tabythah Script

Gods, are you really going to fight off the Falmer? That’s really kind of you. Good luck.

What’s the situation like here?
Everyone’s on pins and needles. One of the council members’ daughter even fled in the middle of the night.
Frankly, I don’t blame her. If we don’t run, we might be done for. But Aldryn thinks we can still salvage the city.

Tell me more about the girl who fled.
Avrusa. Her mother’s Elenea, the third member of the council. She’s always been the reckless sort, and really hard to figure out.
A lot of people were mad at her for not leaving when her mother got sick. Now they hate her for abandoning her post.

What are your views on the council?
We really need to let Zannfar take charge.
Aldryn’s wise, but you don’t ask a chef to brew a potion, and you don’t ask a wiseman to fight Falmer.

Who do you think killed Elenea’s daughter?
Honestly, my guess would’ve been Zannfar. He’s always wanted Elenea’s attention.

Would anyone outside the council have motive to kill her?
Well, Avrusa always rubbed people the wrong way.
But if that was enough to get you killed, then Varksys would’ve never made it past childhood.

Nephalata Scene

How are your studies coming along?

They’re doing just fine, Nepha.

You know, you don’t have to lie to me. If you’re having trouble with a tome, I may be able to help you.

Well, to be honest, I don’t understand how to form ice spikes. I just end up making a lot of ice.

You have the basic principle down. You just need to focus your energy into a point, and gradually draw it out.
Think of it like pulling a handkerchief through a tiny hole.

Thanks, I’ll try that.
